DO PARENTS PARTICIPATE IN THE SESSION?
Parents, grandparents, extended family and friends are all welcome to come along and watch a Boogie Woogie session. We do enjoy seeing parents and/or carers participate in the session however, if your child is confident and is participating independently, adults are welcome to sit back and watch.
HOW MUCH DO SESSIONS COST?
Below are the prices of Boogie Woogie classes & loyalty cards as of the 1st June 2024:
Casual session: ‘Pay as you go’ or one-off session bookings are $16.00 per child, per session
OR
$26.00 for siblings x2
$33.00 for siblings x3
Loyalty Card:
$140.00 for a 10 class pass
This works out to be $14.00 per session.
This DOES NOT include the Boogie Woogie T-shirt.
$150.00 for a 10 class pass and includes a Boogie Woogie T-shirt
This works out to be $15.00 per session and includes a FREE Boogie Woogie T-shirt to the value of $15.00.
$75.00 for a 5 class pass
$15.00 per session.
This DOES NOT include the Boogie Woogie T-shirt.
*You can purchase a loyalty card at any one of our classes.
*Loyalty cards do not expire.
*Loyalty cards cannot be shared with friends or extended family members.
*Loyalty cards cannot be refunded, returned or resold.
*Sibling Loyalty cards are also available. Please discuss with admin when purchasing 2 or more cards at one time.
DO I NEED TO BOOK?
Yes. Please book online through Facebook, Instagram or on our website using the 'BOOK NOW' button.
Some of our weekly classes/ time slots are very popular. Bookings help us to ensure classes run smoothly, we have enough props for all the children attending and classes are FUN for everyone!
Whether you want to come casually or if you have purchased a loyalty card please remember to book.
WHAT IF MY CHILD IS SHY OR DOESN'T WANT TO PARTICIPATE?
Our focus is more about the aspect of fun and getting the most enjoyment out of the class by allowing children space and autonomy to move and be ‘free’. The environment is ‘semi-structured’ meaning, no child is expected to conform to unrealistic expectations for their age group (standing in lines or on a marker).
They can participate by listening, watching, playing instruments and exploring props with you.
Music and dance have it’s own magical powers too. It’s wonderful to watch shy children come out of their shells and start to participate more actively each session, in their own time and when they are ready.
WHO TAKES THE GROUPS AND WHAT ARE THEIR QUALIFICATIONS?
Our community groups are conducted by teachers, stay at home mums, dance instructors and anyone who has a love for kids, dance, music and knows how to have fun!
All our instructors hold current WWCC.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY CHILD OR I AM SICK?
If you suspect you or your child are contagious, please stay away from the session to avoid potentially sharing germs.
Please note there are no cancellation fees if you miss a class. We just hope once the germs have gone you can come back to join us again.
